About... Heritage Christian Academy (H.C.A.)

  • HERITAGE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY offers classes for students in First through Twelfth Grades, and also Junior and Senior Kindergarten for ages 3-5.  The School Day begins at 8:20am and ends at 3:20pm for all students.  Before and After-School Care is available from 6:00am until 6:00pm.

  • AT HERITAGE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY, which is fully accredited, students' average academically at least two years above the national standard, based upon yearly Achievement Tests.

  • ONE OF OUR MAIN FEATURES IS CHRISTIAN CHARACTER BUILDING.  Girls are taught Bible standards for young ladies, and boys are developed into Christian leaders and gentlemen form God's Word by godly teachers.  Students are taught proper manners and respect for authority.

  • A VARIETY OF SUBJECTS ARE OFFERED at Heritage:  Bible, Academics, Music, hand bells, piano, organ, Band Instruments, Sports, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Baseball, Speech and Drama, Sign Language, Spanish, French, Art, Teacher Training, Computer Programming, Typing, Job Experience Training and Christian Service.

  • THIS SCHOOL IS DEDICATED to the training of Christian children in a program of study, activity and living that is Christ-centered.

  • INDIVIDUAL HELP Classes are structured so that each student receives individual help in each subject in addition to special class time in math, history, Bible, music, and performing arts.  All students are given the ACE Diagnostic Tests before entering school.  Students who score below grade level are required to take tutoring until they are on grade level.

  • ATTRACTIVE UNIFORMS ARE REQUIRED because:

    • Parents save a minimum of 80% on school clothes for a year.

    • Students score higher academically and study more diligently in uniforms.

    • Discipline problems are reduced by more than 80%.

    • Students feel accepted and belong to the school and not part of a rebellious peer group.

    • All group sports and many other groups require uniforms to identify each group and build the spirit of the organization:  football teams, airlines, McDonalds, car rentals, Publix, Winn Dixie, etc.

    • Uniforms help build character and reduce conceit and inferiority.

  • SPECIAL PARENT REPORT. Each Monday a weekly envelope and newsletter are sent home to keep parents informed about school events and their children's progress, privilege, and behavior.  Regular report cards are issued quarterly.

  • STUDENTS AND PARENTS ARE EXPECTED TO LOVE THE LORD JESUS and regularly attend, belong, and actively participate in a Bible-believing church.

  • HERITAGE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY IS OWNED BY HERITAGE BAPTIST CHURCH and is under the supervision of the Pastor and his staff.  However, students of any denomination, who meet the entrance standards, are accepted.

  • IT IS A FACT - YOUR CHILDREN WILL PASS THIS WAY BUT ONCE!  Pray about God's will for your children.  Then call for an appointment to see the school, meet the staff, to enroll your children in HERITAGE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY where we work with you to train your children in to serve the Lord as Christian Leaders! (We also have a HOME-SCHOOL PROGRAM where you can teach your own children at home.)
